Estell A. Jones is a Business & Finance Internship Developer and Career Counselor for the Internship & Career Center, University of California Davis. In this role, she assists undergraduate/graduate students and alumni as they navigate the career decision making process and supports them as they identify, evaluate and refine academic and career paths.
Estell is also the owner of EAJones Consulting Group. The group provides consulting and training to private, public and non-profit organizations on large and small systems change, strategic planning, leadership development and learning styles.
Estell's expertise is in executive coaching, organization development, team development and facilitation, communication, human resource management, and process improvement. She has more than twenty years experience in career decision-making, consulting, public affairs and communications.
Prior to forming the EAJones Consulting Group, Estell was a partner with Renaissance Consulting Group and Executive Vice President of Capax Management Consulting Group.
Other Management positions have included: Director of Communications, Aerojet; Director of Career Services, Graduate School of Management, University of California, Davis; and Director of Business Services, Augustana College. Estell served two, four-year terms on Augustana's Board of Directors. She has served on various other boards, including Sacramento Urban League, Sacramento Theatre, Sacramento Library Foundation, Habitat for Humanity and the Mulitiple Sclerosis Foundation.
Estell received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Augustana College. She completed a Master's degree in Organization Development and Human Resource Management at the University of San Francisco. Estell is a certified trainer in 4MAT, a methodology and delivery system to manage personnel, implement innovations and design and conduct training.
Estell is a much sought after speaker on a variety of topics including learning organizations, work trends of the future, career decision making, leadership and power in the work place.
